Bernafon Alpha XT 7 Hearing Aids Overview

Bernafon Alpha XT 7 hearing aids include the miniRITE T,  miniRITE T R, miniBTE T and miniBTE T R models.  Launched in March 2023, the Bernafon Alpha XT hearing aid range, like the original Alpha, was inspired by an animal’s precise hearing but now it includes a more advanced Hybrid Technology – called Hybrid Sound Care.
The main focus of this new feature is protecting hearing aid wearers from the disturbance of both wind and contact noise.  Bernafon Alpha XT 7 hearing aids are the middle performance level, so it includes most of the robust features but has less personalisation and fewer sophisticated options – especially for background noise. There are two rechargeable and two disposable battery options all with wireless connectivity technology. Giving you advanced sound quality, clarity within an elegant design.

New Hybrid Sound Care features

Hybrid Sound Care removes noise at the beginning of the signal processing.  This feature tackles and protects you from the annoyance of both wind noise and contact noise.  How does this help your hearing?  Because this technology can make 500 adjustments per second across 24 frequency bands, you will gain from more comfort in wind noise (using the Wind Noise Protector) and handling noise, such as brushing your hair or putting on your glasses (using Contact Noise Protector).

The Contact Noise Protector assists in preventing the annoyance of contact noise, such as brushing your hair. Traditional hearing aids in the past would have amplified these noises like other sounds, but Alpha XT quickly detects them and reduces amplification automatically.  Resulting in better speech clarity and better listening comfort with less listening effort.  Along with the original Alpha features set of Hybrid Sound Processing, Hybrid Noise Management, Hybrid Balancer and Hybrid Feedback Canceller – they work in harmony. This means that the sound you hear is always the best in various listening situations. Giving you greater speech understanding and listening comfort.

Charging systems

  • Desktop charger:  This user-friendly charging system is a small desktop charger allowing you to charge overnight ready for a full days worth of power the next day.
  • Portable charger:  A convenient and nifty charging system, ideal for travelling and charging on the go.  It offers three full charging cycles without the need for a power supply.

Connectivity

These hearing aids offer hands-free calls for both iPhones and iPad and connect to all Bernafon’s hearing aid accessories.  Such as SoundClip-A, RC-A and TV-A.  They are also compatible to stream audio directly from iPhone and Android devices.  There is also a new Bernafon app which now combines both hearing aid control management and remote care support.  So you can now, adjust your volume and programs, find your hearing aids, check your battery level and now remote care from your audiologist.
